Most cash contracts include an inspection or due diligence period of a few days to two weeks in which the buyer walks the property, orders a title search, and confirms the numbers; within that window the buyer can cancel or ask to renegotiate, and after it the deposit generally becomes non-refundable. Buyers in the BuyerMatch.ai network make as-is offers, so the period is for verification rather than a repair list, and some waive a formal inspection in exchange for a quick close. Read the contract for the length of the period, what triggers a refund of the deposit, and whether the price can be reopened.
